Ace, Pampa, and Ninja ready for a potato card battle

A single-player blackjack battler

Batata! Spud Royale

Play the hand. Outlast the potato.

Take turns against the dealer. Turn Coins into attacks, protection, or a little more breathing room. Stay standing longer than the other potato.

In development · Planned for Google Play and Amazon Fire tablets.

One more hand?

One more card. One more chance.

A bout lasts across several hands. Your health and resources carry over until someone runs out of HP.

  1. Play your hand

Hit or Stand. Get close to 21 without busting. Your Lucky might give you a boost.

  2. Face the result

Face the dealer. A loss hurts; a bust hurts more. Stay under 22 and earn Coins.

  3. Spend or save

Attack, Defend, or Heal after your hand—or save your Coins for later.

  4. Weather their turn

Your rival gets a turn too. Outlast them to win the bout.

Two Coins. Attack, Defend, or Heal?

You have 1 Coin. Finish a hand without busting and you earn at least 1 more. Now you can spend 2—or hold on to them.

  • AttackDeal 3 damage. Shield takes the hit first.
  • DefendGain up to 2 Shield for incoming damage.
  • HealRestore up to 3 HP when you’re hurt.

No Coins spent? They stay with you for the next hand in this bout.

How the hand and resource rules work

Coins: reaching 21 earns 2; every other non-bust outcome earns 1, including a loss or a tie. A bust earns none. Lucky bonuses are extra.

Damage: an ordinary loss against the dealer deals 3 damage; a bust deals 4. Shield absorbs damage before HP. Other hand results do not deal this loss damage.

Actions: each costs 2 Coins. After your hand resolves, you may use one available action or skip it. Attack deals 3 damage, Defend adds up to 2 Shield, and Heal restores up to 3 HP.

Limits: HP cannot exceed its maximum; Shield cannot exceed 4. Heal is available when you’re below full health; Defend when Shield is below its limit.

A fresh bout: HP resets to full, Coins and Shield to zero. Between hands in the same bout, your remaining resources carry over.

A familiar hand. A potato twist.

Meet your Lucky

Your character has a Lucky rank. When that rank lands in their hand, their Lucky triggers automatically.

Opening cards count. Suits don’t. Your rival has a Lucky too—and chasing yours still risks a bust.

01 / Ace

Draw an Ace → +1 Coin

Ace gets an extra Coin whenever an Ace lands in his hand. That can help pay for an action later.

02 / Pampa

Draw a 6 → restore 1 HP

Pampa’s 6 restores 1 HP when he needs it. Here he’s already full, so the Lucky triggers but adds no health.
